Asian drug connection

For the first time, this TV series talks about drug smuggling. From Korea war actually. Many released prisoners from the commy authorities were used as drug smugglers. Most of them became addicts for whom the needle had no respect for the rank in the US Army. One of them - Jack Klugman- is married to a Korean woman, and our lead Paul Marino - Stephen McNally - tries to get information from him about Red China involvement in the drug business. Jack Klugman is very poignant here, as a victim of the communist drug gangs. Scenes between him and his Korean wife are gripping. More a drama than a crime tale, I guess. The audience may expect many Asian atmosphere sequences. Directed by the so prolific TV vet film maker Don Medford.
