The eastern offices of Wells Fargo made a loan to a man who died in Europe before paying back any of the loan. Part of the collateral for the loan was the "The Golden Wheel" saloon. Jim Hardie is given orders to dispose of it immediately. Jim enters the saloon after riding into town in the evening as the floor show with the young singer/dancer Nell is starting. Jim leans against the bar watching the show as a man he assumes is the manager starts to come downstairs. After the act, the man comes over to Jim to ask if he is from Wells Fargo. After replying yes Jim asks if he is the manager. He replies no, his name is Nevada and the manager, Johnny Lash, a close friend was shot and killed an hour earlier. With the Marshal having to leave town, Jim is on his own to work with Nevada and Lash's girlfriend Francine to determine who killed Johnny and robbed the safe. Written by Anonymous
