Hardie is ordered by Wells Fargo to escort General Sheridan who hates Indians by stagecoach to Fort Laramie for a meeting with the Sioux tribe to create peace in the area. Attacking outlaws may ensure that the powwow never comes to pass.
Jim Hardie has been sent by Wells Fargo to accompany and guard General Phil Sheridan traveling by stagecoach from a train depot to fort Laramie. He is to attend a meeting with Sioux chiefs about keeping the peace in the area which has been having clashes with the Sioux. Sheridan is not known for any respect for Indians. Although Sheridan is on a private stagecoach, the beautiful singer Ann Petrie talks her way on the stage by saying her father is dying although Hardie recognizes her and exposes the lie. Sheridan is not happy about having the extra Wells Fargo guards but after a peaceful start to the trip they encounter multiple incidents proving their worth. Written by
