Gunrunners are selling rifles to the renegade Indians who use their new weapons to attack Wells Fargo stagecoaches, wagon trains and relay stations. Because all wagons are thoroughly searched in St. Joseph, Missouri, Hardie suspects that the arms are placed in the wagon on the trail and goes undercover to expose the culprits.
