Magistrate Thomas tells Sarah that her makeup would be a problem because no one in Colonial Village (1692) wears it; yet in the next scene his daughter is clearly wearing a lot of blush and eye shadow (makeup--even if just for the sake of the camera--could have been done much more minimally).
