When Tarot cards go wrong...
10 May 2015 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

Tarot cards are the theme for this middling episode of TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE, which at least takes the subject seriously and thus is better than some of the episodes I've watched. The story involves a down-on-her-luck woman who's forced to make a living as a fortune teller, dishing out readings to her unsuspecting clients. Unbeknownst to her, she's handling a cursed deck which gives out bad readings to all and sundry.

Once the woman becomes aware of her plight, she attempts to do something about it, but it all ends disastrously with a downbeat ending, which is probably the best thing about the episode. The storyline isn't too shabby really, it's just those cheap production values that let this one down, but you could do worse.
