Did You Know?

The title is based on the common proverb that "Beauty is only skin deep". See more »

Carl Schlag: Listen, uh, not to be rude or anything, but, uh... what are you? I mean, the costume?
Molly: I'm a bodybag. I thought the invitation said "come as you are".
Carl Schlag: W-well, how are you a bodybag?
Molly: A synthetic shell with a corpse inside.
Carl Schlag: Oh yeah... well, you look... pretty lively to me...
Molly: Yeah, well... don't we all? I better hit the road, before I lose what little mind I have left. The creeps will be coming back in here any minute and I am *so* weary of being hit on.

Malicious man helped out by masked Molly.
22 September 2011 | by (Edinburgh.) – See all my reviews

Peter Onorati stars as a violent man who gatecrashes a party just because he knows that his partner will be there. While he's at the party he meets a masked woman, Molly (Sherrie Rose), and the temperature rises as soon as the two meet. They're soon having passionate, aggressive sex. No names. And Molly keeps her mask on.

William Malone directs this episode, from a screenplay by Dick Beebe, and I must say that it's a disappointing one. What may have worked in the comic story format doesn't always work on screen without an extra helping hand. Malone can do better than this and so can the show.

There's a great atmosphere of heat and lust but that's not enough to carry throughout the whole show and, with nothing else available, viewers will be bored before a predictable and unfulfilling finale.

Onorati does okay as the violent male while Sherrie Rose somehow makes her masked woman a very sexy figure indeed, so kudos there, but this still comes way down the pile when compared to other tales.
