Love me do, love me voodoo.

Despite the lack of star power this time round, this tale from the crypt is one of the many better outings thanks to the combination of deceit, voodoo and a great, nasty payoff.

D.W Moffett plays Logan Andrews, a gold-digger who wants to find himself the right woman with a lot of money. Pamela Gien plays Margaret, the right woman. Logan asks a voodoo priestess (Janet Hubert) to make him a love potion that he can slip to Margaret and this makes her fall in love with him. But just how long will the effect last?

Jeri Barchilon provides a decent script here, one that sketches out the details and leaves plenty of room for atmosphere and the build up to the grand finale. Director Chris Walas (probably best known for helming the sequel to Cronenberg's The Fly) does well enough with the fun material and I don't see why this wouldn't please fans of the show, despite the lack of big names.
