When a cop who's a friend of Hooker's is killed by a man he and his partner, Dunston sent to prison. Hooker tries to help his wife but Dunston thinks Hooker is infringing on what should be his responsibility. Gary Lockwood starred with Shatner some 20 years earlier in the second pilot for Star Trek the original series, which was broadcast as the third episode of Season One, "Where No Man Has Gone Before". His character, Gary Mitchell, attempted to kill Kirk, who at that time (according to a headstone above the intended grave) had the name of James R. Kirk rather than T. for Tiberius (which only became canon after the animated series aired in the early 70's). See more
The shooter used a silencer on a revolver. You can't silence a revolver because there is an opening after the chamber for all the noise to escape. Even if he used a semi automatic with a silencer, people in the store would have heard it. It is still quite loud. See more
