Heather Locklear goes Undercover for the First Time
RogerMooreTheBestBond26 March 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I always enjoyed the episodes where Heather Locklear(Stacey Sheridan)went undercover. For most of the time, she would get into trouble and Hooker and Romano and later on Corrigan would come to the rescue. Also, she would be able to show off her body wearing shorts, bikini's & leotards. This episode is the first time she wears a bikini. It also introduces us to her future place where she lived in the series, Marina Club Apartments. She goes undercover to find a killer of young blonde attractive women. She arrives in shorts, then her next scene is in a bikini. James Maceachin, a favorite of mine, heads the undercover team. Hooker and Ramano keep close tabs on her. She ends up kidnapped and taken to an underground area where there are cages or jail bars or something. Hooker saves her and all is well. A really well done episode and directed by Leonard Nimoy. Heather Locklear shows she can carry a show and has a great body that is always nice to look at. Heather also show off her assets in future episodes "Carnal Express", "Cheerleader Murders", "The Trial", "Exercise in Murder" & "Blood Sport".

Guest villain should be arrested for bad acting
Fluke_Skywalker7 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Watching Shatner practically barrel roll into every scene always makes watching T.J. Hooker a hoot, but even Shatner at his Shatnerist can't save this wet noodle episode.

The "plot" revolves around a cuckolded tennis pro who kills women who look like his wife... Because, you know, killing his cheating wife would be wrong. The actor (and I use that term VERY loosely) playing our baddie comes across like a special needs Ken doll. He's so bad he makes Heather Locklear look like Meryl Streep.

As with most T.J. Hooker episodes, there's a concurrent humorous side plot here, and though it's no knee slapper, it qualifies as the best thing about "The Decoy".

Fun fact!: This episode was directed by Shatner's longtime Star Trek co-star Leonard Nimoy. A dry run for his shot behind the camera for Star Trek III.
