Storyline

Jack Cole learns that the mob has embezzled millions of dollars from a union and invested it in a casino, kidnapping the union's financial manager in the bargain. His friend Woods is heading a Federal task force investigating the union's finances. The mob knows about this and plans to pump the casino's profits back into the union books, at least temporarily. Jack decides to bankrupt the casino and leave its bosses hung out to dry. He goes to a computer company and has it manufacture microchips which say the name and denomination of all 52 cards in a playing deck. Then he goes to the company which manufactures the cards (in huge sheets) and has workers affix the microchips to the backs of all of the cards in the next shipment of decks. Dack Rambo Plays to Win
7 April 2011 | by (Los Angeles) – See all my reviews

In the short-lived series' two hour concluding episode, Jack Cole (Dack Rambo) finds action in Las Vegas as he outwits mobsters running a crooked casino. There is no way to shuffle the deck against our handsome hero playing "Blackjack" to win back $10 million taken from a pension fund. It's fun to see suave "Special Guest Star" George Hamilton (as Paul Franks) go down. Also watch for two "Dark Shadows" (1967-1971) stars in meaty parts; distressed John Karlen (as Jerry Lombardi) acts up a firestorm from the start, and Lara Parker (as Dory) later appears as a steadfast seductress. No wonder companion Bert Rosario (as Hector Ramirez) has to remind Rambo, "You're not a vampire, a little sun's not going to hurt you."
