In the episode "Nightmare Island" from season 2, Gerard Christophers Superboy costume suddenly changes to one from the first season worn by John Newton. This is obvious since Newton's costume had a smaller, bolder 'S' and was also darker in color than the one used by Christopher in seasons 2-4. Since Superboys suit gets damaged in the episode it is most likely the producers didn't want to ruin one of the new suits made for Christopher and instead decided to use one of the old season 1 costumes.
