Deadly Silence is a bit of a human story. Stone gets hits by a get away driver's van, and shoots one of the suspects. Stone is stubborn and tries investigation while deaf in one ear. Keller works threw the trauma of Stone and Stone's daughter about the should Stone take the surgery? The other story has one of the assailants dies and the wife of the dead robber is on a emotional vendetta to kill Stone. The concurring stories coliid into a explosive climax. A bit different story, but in a human way. 7 stars.

Mike kills a robber and his widow and partner in crime seeks revenge.
Another great Season 4 episode. Many interesting things to make this a great show. Jeannie is planning a surprise birthday party for her dad. Mike gets injured by a getaway van and loses hearing in one ear. Guest star Meredith Baxter plays an atypical role as the vengeful widow. Some suspenseful scenes as Mike is in danger since he cannot hear when the killer is approaching.
