Storyline
After arresting Bob Evans for speeding, a sheriff's deputy discovers an expensive stolen bracelet in the car's glove compartment. The young man claims to have purchased the jewelry from a man named "Smith" and planned to give it as a present to his fiancée. Evans' alibi goes up in smoke when the woman who introduced him to the jewelry salesman refuses to back his story. Written by
