- Rod Blake: Oh, hello. I'm Rod Blake, chief investigator for the Nevada state troopers. If you're ever big game hunting and you come across tracks like these, you can be pretty sure you're on a cold trail - a few million years cold. These are dinosaur footprints - the real thing. These particular ones are well-preserved in the yard of the Nevada state penitentiary here in Carson City. They're responsible for a saying among the prisoners, "When a man's in, he's riding the dinosaur." I got this from an old man who'd been riding the monster for ten years. He said this was going to be his last ride and I believed him. Whether I should have or not is the point of a story called "Room Service for 321".
- Sheriff Andy Anderson: Say, you got a soft spot for this old man?
- Rod Blake: Not if he's back in business.
