After a gunman is seriously wounded in a New York City currency exchange robbery, he asks his sister to contact Rod Blake in Nevada with an offer to give himself up if he can convince the governor to pardon his wife whom he claims had no part in a homicide he committed several years earlier. Blake goes to meet the killer, but finds him dead in his apartment with the proceeds of the robbery missing. Written by David Bassler

Police Sgt. Riggs: Well, what's the point. As they used to say in vaudeville, after New York, everything else is Bridgeport.
