- The team find a hidden Wraith girl, cared for by a man with a serum that he claims can satisfy her hunger. Beckett wants to perfect a retrovirus that can turn Wraith into humans.
- The team arrives in a village where all the people are hiding in a bar. Village elder Goran tells it is not safe to be outside as once about every three months the Daimos sucks the life out of a few people. Ten years ago a ship from the sky crashed and the villagers killed all but one of the monsters inside. Sheppard promises to take care of this Wraith and Ronon is able to track it to a cave. Inside they find a Wraith girl, who runs into the arms of a man, Zaddik. He tells he rescued Ellia ten years ago and has been caring for her ever since. Zaddik has developed a serum that allows her to survive without feeding. Dr. Beckett wants to know all about this serum. He also sees possibilities to perfect a retrovirus that he is working on, turning Wraiths into Humans.—Arnoud Tiele (imdb@tiele.nl)
- Shepard and the team visit a planet where a Wraith ship had crashed some 10 years before. The locals killed all of the survivors of the crash but one managed to escape. Since then, the Wraith has attacked villagers several times per years, killing two or three locals on each occasion. They decide to help the locals out and track the Wraith but are surprised at what they find: a young Wraith female, Ellia, who has been raised by one of the locals, Zaddik. More importantly, Zaddik claims to have developed a serum that allows Ellia to live a normal life foregoing the need to feed on others. When Dr. Beckett determines that Ellia is actually part human having become a Wraith when bitten by a large bug, he's certain he can develop a retrovirus that may reverse her condition.—garykmcd
- Sheppard's team learns from village leader Goran the rural, backward planet they visit has old legends fitting the Wraith but is terrified of a 'Daimon', which sounds like a roaming one, who kills a few a year, presumed the sole survivor of a dart-crash ten years ago. Ronon promises to hunt and kill it fast, but Sheppard orders caution. They trace a fleeing female to a cave, where Ellia lives in hiding with adoptive father Zaddik, who swears she's harmless since he perfected a serum as substitute for human food. McKay wonders, Becket insists to come investigate what might be a wonder cure and at arrival explains he may learn how to complete his retrovirus to turn Wraiths into regular humans. However things go wrong as a villager patrol ignores Sheppard's advice to wait after another attack and Ellia steals and self-injects a retrovirus prototype.—KGF Vissers
