Farscape star Ben Browder jumps universes and takes over from Richard Dean Anderson as commander of the space-hopping military unit that braves a new universe with a unique form of travel, jumping across vast distances of space through the alien technology of the Stargate, in this TV sequel to the hit film Stargate. The series began on Showtime, but was picked up by the Sci-Fi channel, where it went on to become the longest running science fiction TV series of all time. Amanda Tapping co-stars as Maj. Samantha Carter, Christopher Judge is the alien Teal’c, Michael Shanks is Dr. Daniel Jackson, and two other new cast members jump on board this season: Browder's fellow Farscape veteran Claudia Black as Vala Mal Doran and Beau Bridges as Major General Hank Landry.
