Daniel informs the SG-1 that he must return to Abydos to tell to
Sha're's father that he has not found her yet; otherwise the Stargate
will be buried forever. Teal'c goes with him while Jack and Sam go to
Washington to be decorated by the President. On the arrival, Daniel and
Teal'c learn that Sha're is pregnant by Apophis and will deliver her
baby in Abydos. Further, her Goa'uld is asleep to protect the baby, so
Daniel is able to rekindle his love. Meanwhile Jack discovers that the
secret about the Stargate has leaked to a snoopy reporter Armin Selig
that blackmails him seeking confirmation.
"Secrets" is divided in two episodes, none of them engaging. Sha're and Daniel have no chemistry and life will go on to Daniel on the next episodes. The assassination of the reporter gives a different connotation to the sci-fi series. My vote is seven.
Title (Brazil): "Secrets"
This is just the most annoying episode until now.
Just one word: awful.
The storyline is so off and wrong, daniel is just a jerk "oh my god noo, no I can't do this nooo" what a pussy wrote this sh.t?
Then they "tried" to escape ... watching 10 seconds that the ship landed and then talking bullsh.t instead of just opening the stargate...
The pseudo-politics are off by far, just send the CIA and cleanup the mess with the damn reporter ... who cares? That would be honest ... but the pretend that they would play nice in face of a possible war with China and Russland?? Bullsh.t.
Who the heck wrote this shitty script?

Strange episode because it's divided in two stories. One concerning
Teal'c and Jackson returning to Abydos to tell Sha're her father that
they can't find her. Remember, Jackson was once in love with her. But
when they arrive they soon discover that she's still alive and living
together with her father.
Further we have O'Neill and Carter going to Washington to be decorated by the president. But things go wrong because O'Neill is stopped by a journalist who tells him that he know everything about Cheyenne Mountain base and the SG-1 project. Not only that, Jackosn soon discovers that Sha're is pregnant by Apophis. But Heru'ur, the enemy of Apophis wants to get the baby when it is born.
Two stories that are here to catch sadly they jump from one story to another. They should better have divided it in two separate episodes but we are stuck with it as it is. It's funny to see O'Neill and Carter walking in Washington. We can only hope that in further episodes the story about the journalist returns but this episode containing two stories that has nothing to do with each other is misplaced.
Almost no effects to catch only at the planet Abydos we do have a fight going on.
