Trivia:

Col. O'Neill tells a reporter "That's O'Neill, with two L's. There's another Colonel O'Neil with one L. He has no sense of humor." In the feature film Stargate (1994), the lead character, whose name was spelled with one L, was played by Kurt Russell and was a much more humorless character.

Goofs:

Continuity: When Carter tells O'Neill that Washington D.C. is her "old stomping grounds", Jack replies, "Sorry to hear that." When Selig is playing back the recording of the conversation for Jack in the bar, his reply became "My condolences."
