Storyline

After a MALP goes out of remote control, even flying wild, an energy burst during an emergency Stargate shutdown causes serious damage in SGC, and wounds operator Sergeant Harriman; Dr. Frasier keeps SG-1 down for check-ups. It soon becomes clear a 'computer program' has entered trough the wormhole, and is taking over the SGC computer network; even after Sam shuts it down, it reemerges, constantly requiring more memory. It not only 'nests' in a hardware constellation it creates, but even manages to take over Carter's brain, and communicates. It's a non-corporeal life form, whose entire home was damaged by a virus caused by the MALP radio waves, and believes its best survival chance is inside Sam, as the humans won't sacrifice her; true soldier Jack however decides to play hardball... Survival and Sacrifice
31 August 2016 | by (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) – See all my reviews

The SGC sends the MALP to probe an unknown planet. Out of the blue, the SGC is unable to control the MALP that flies and Sam suggests to shutdown the Stargate. However there is a power surge that damages the equipment and Sergeant Walter Harriman is wounded. Soon Jack, Sam, Daniel and Teal'c discover that some alien form of energy has invaded the computer system. Furtherm they find a weird device built by the alien. Jack decides to destroy the interface of the computer system with the device and the alien takes over Sam's brain to survive. The alien explains that the MALP has destroyed part of its society and he came to destroy the SGC. Now it is using Sam's brain to survive since they will not sacrifice Sam. What will Jack and the SGC do ?

"Entity" is a different film with a sad story of survival and sacrifice. The alien form is only trying to save itself and its race that has been partially destroyed by the SGC. And is capable to sacrifice itself to protect his society. My vote is seven.

Title (Brazil):"Entity"
