When Tuvok reassures the children at the beginning, they throw themselves onto him in succession: first Elani, hugging him frontally, then Corin, doing so to the left of Elani (who by this time has moved slightly to the side). Finally Tressa, who also arrives from the front and to the left of Elani seconds later; however, Corin has mysteriously disappeared.
Chakotay says something in his Native American language to an alien race. He then translates and tells them what it means in English. The universal translator technology that allows aliens to understand English would have also translated his statement into their language from the Native American language.
When Tuvok talks about his lute, he says "It is a five-stringed instrument," although in Persistence of Vision (1995) it could be seen to have twelve strings.
When dealing with the children, Tuvok shows frequent signs of impatience. For a Vulcan, the display of such an emotion is rather atypical.
