James Cromwell, who plays the Prime Minister of Angosia, would go on to play other roles in the Star Trek universe, most notably Zephram Cochrane, the father of warp drive on earth, in Star Trek: First Contact (1996).
Jeff McCarthy who starred as Roga Danar, made a second Star Trek appearance by playing the ill-fated original chief medical officer of the USS Voyager in Star Trek: Voyager's pilot episode, "Caretaker".
This takes place in 2366.
