When Lwaxana welcomes Timicin in the transporter room, Picard - behind her - has his hands folded in front of him. When the camera changes, his arms are hanging down.
The suggestion hat the star would need to reach a constant core temperature of 220 MK is misinformed. This could never be a main sequence star, and it would constantly be ejecting large amounts of matter, or, more likely, immediately start the final phase of its life and explode (as it did in the episode when the temperature jumped another rather negligible amount).
Occasionally, we can see the obvious seam of the Timicin's forehead and the hair/bald head apparatus worn by David Ogden Stiers.
When Deanna pressed the button to let Timicin into her quarters, the doors begin to open a fraction of a second before it is pressed.
When the Science Minister is first shown on the computer in the Captain's ready room, a piece of blue cloth is visible on the left side of the screen. Later, the same cloth is seen again when Timicin is watching the screen, indicating Timicin was there at the first viewing.
When the Kaelon warships are sent to intercept the Enterprise, Picard orders Red Alert and shields up. Lwaxana then leads Timicin off the bridge. While Lwaxana and Timicin are discussing the situation in a corridor ringed with flashing Red Alert lights, Riker signals Timicin from the bridge that Timicin has a visitor (his daughter). The only way his daughter could have arrived so quickly is if she had beamed aboard. But it would have been impossible for her to beam aboard with the shields up.
The boom can be seen reflected in the mirror in Lwaxanna's guest quarters as she talks to Deanna. A studio light is also reflected in the mirror. The shadow of the boom is then visible against the wall as Lwaxanna walks towards Deanna.
When Lwaxana Troi is talking to Deanna about being "unsure of (herself) myself" as she walks in front of the mirror, which shows Deanna's reflection, a boom mic can be seen in the mirror.
The temperature of the star's core is constantly referred to in "degrees Kelvin." Units of temperature on the Kelvin scale are referred to as kelvins, not degrees.
When Timicin is beamed aboard, Picard greets him with his hand out to shake hands and Timicin says that he has heard of this custom. Picard rarely, if ever, greeted other species with a handshake.
