I mean you're supposed to get years of training and preparation before you get joined and all I got was a 15-minute lecture from the ship's surgeon and he wasn't even a Trill...

  Sisko : I'm starting to see the problem.

  Ensign Ezri Dax : Who?

  Sisko : Dr. Wycoff. They're waiting for him in the isolation ward.

  Ensign Ezri Dax : You have definitely gotten stranger.

• Sarah Sisko : The Sisko's path is a difficult one.

  Sisko : But why me? Why did it have to be me?

  Sarah Sisko : Because it could be no one else.

• Dr. Wykoff : Mr. Russell, you promised not to write on the walls.

  Benny Russell : Nobody will give me any paper

  Dr. Wykoff : I thought we agreed that you weren't going to write at all, that you needed to rest.

  Benny Russell : I don't need to rest, I need to tell my stories!

  Dr. Wykoff : You were doing so well, Benny. Making real progress. We were all so proud of you.

  Benny Russell : I need to go home, I don't belong here.

  Dr. Wykoff : We'll send you home as soon as you're well.

  Benny Russell : I'm fine!

  Dr. Wykoff : You're not fine. People who are fine don't write on walls.
