Cattleman hires some roughs to stop a herd of sheep.
10 August 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Manola Toreno, an older man, is moving his sheep to an open range grazing field with his dog. While resting a man, Hogan- who is working for a cattleman named Martin Kincaid, approaches Toreno asking if he can buy the herd of sheep for a small amount of money. Toreno explains that his son and daughter are on their way from Spain to help with the sheep and he refuses to sell. Hogan then shoots the sheep herder because Mr Kincaid has hired him and two other roughs to stop any, and all, sheep from coming near his area.

When Jamie and Angela Toreno arrive in Timberline, they will be catching the stagecoach for the last part of their journey. They are to meet their father along the trail before arriving at half-way house. With Luke, Simon and Davey on the stage it is no time before they arrive at the area where their father is suppose to be located. They find the sheep but also find where their father had been murdered. Luke and Simon suspect trouble and will help lead the sheep to support the newly arrived Jamie. This is while Davey will drive the stage to half-way house with Angela as his passenger.

It is not long before Kincaid's men catch up with the trio leading the sheep. They will wait till nightfall and start the job they were paid for by Kincaid.

For whatever reason, this story just failed to gain much interest plus seemed to take a very long time to get around toward the predicable ending. The acting was fine but had trouble with the fact that the Toreno kids were suppose to be arriving from Spain yet looked more Asian than a family from Europe. All the action was happening on the trail with the herd but many times the show reverted back to half-way house that just added useless fluff to fill the allotted time for the show. An average episode for the series.
