This installment of "Stage 7" stars Pat O'Brien. He plays a frustrated mechanic who is contemplating running away from his job and family. This really made no sense at all, as his family adores him and his kid seems wonderful--and his running away is in no way consistent with his character. Fortunately, through the course of the film he comes to realize the folly of his decision and you assume he'll just stay put and keep slugging it out at work. Still, it is enjoyable and worth seeing provided your expectations are not particularly high. Plus Billy Chapin (who plays the son) was a terrific child actor--making quite an impact in the film.
