User Reviews

This was a tender episode.

Believe it or not, somewhere in some box in the basement marked "Videos" that old fashioned medium, there is a copy of this episode. I used to love this show. It had it all. Great actors, who went on to win Oscars. Great writing which won Emmy awards. Great chemistry within the cast, that was evident. It was responsible for a lot of career enhancements. It also had superior celebrity guests in several episodes. BUT, this particular show was absolutely my favorite St. Elsewhere episode. It dealt with the less fortunate, the love between an older couple with a few disabilities and how the system of a hospital works when you are facing crises. This is one that you should not miss and will watch with your family for years. Doris Roberts and the late James Coco both received Emmy nods for their roles. You will never forget this show!
