An entertaining romp.

Charlotte Dean has a plan to catch a circle of men, who are taking out anyone responsible for debasing British Society, Hawksworth goes undercover, landing himself in trouble. Charlotte disappears, Hawksworth is convinced she's dead.

This is a better episode than the first, it's definitely lots of fun, an entertaining romp, and perhaps a bit of a dig at Mary Whitehouse, it certainly takes aim at those calling for 'a less' dirty Britain.

There's definitely a bit of taring up the rule book here, with Clive ending up in trouble, needing Charlotte's assistance, refreshing. Humour is used throughout, bed hopping scenes worthy of Allo Allo.

In still struggling to believe this was made as late as 1972, it looks so much older than that, it feels very mid 60's.

Ainley definitely adds a bit of humour and charm here, seeing him bound in an evening suit, he is James Bond meets The Master, if only he'd miniaturised them all!

André Morell and Charles Lloyd Pack are both very entertaining.

7/10.
