Quotes

[Isaac has told Dana about a new bid from Quo Vadimus. Dana is "not" telling Dan and Casey]
Dana Whitaker: Isaac doesn't trust that when he tells me something, I can be cool. He thinks it's gonna spread around and the information'll get all twisted and I'm going to show him he's wrong.
[Back in Isaac's office]
Isaac Jaffe: Three, two, one...
Jeremy Goodwin: Isaac, I don't know if you heard. Six this morning there was a bid from an Italian airline called Platypus.
Isaac Jaffe: Yeah. Keep it under your hat, would you?

The network goes up for sale, and some loose ends are tied
25 August 2006 | by (Phoenix, AZ) – See all my reviews

I never saw Sports Night when it was on television, but watched the 3-DVD set as fast as I could. The characters are witty and deep; they make mistakes and have anxieties like real people, but with better teeth and hair and comebacks; they make us as viewers wish that they were our own circle of friends. This final episode gave a sense of precariousness, with the network being sold, but also of preciousness of the present and hope for the future. I will watch anything Aaron Sorkin wishes to write, and any production in which these excellent actors appear. This makes me want to see all of the West Wing in a marathon.
