Zoe finds herself in the dock charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter and one count of conspiracy to commit murder. She had gone undercover in order to infiltrate the Turkish mafia which MI5 believes was getting into the major arms business. She manages to enter the group's inner circle by befriending Sevelin Ozal. He now claims that Zoe encouraged him to murder Emre Celenk, the group's leader - an accusation that she vehemently denies. The Crown contends that Zoe made Ozal jealous by spending the weekend with his boss and then told him to kill the man, which was the aim of the operation from the outset. Zoe has been given a cover story and is under orders not to reveal what really happened. She does confide in Danny however. Still a good series, but no longer great.
5 August 2006 | by (Australia) – See all my reviews

I loved the first two seasons of Spooks, but with the gradual demise of pretty well most of the key characters there just seems to be a lessening of the impact of the series midway through series 3.

In this episode Zoe exits the series, brought to justice after an operation that pits the secret service against the law of the land. Danny is naturally distraught - lets hope he doesn't up and leave as a result!

This episode is all about Zoe, her career, her relationships and her farewell from the series which is certainly not predictable. She'll be missed as a member of the cast.

Still highly watchable, perhaps the introduction of new characters will start to mesh after a few more episodes.
