Goofs

When the tiger is in Mike's office and Kaari is petting the tiger and holding the chain. The chain she is holding is not the chain around the tiger's neck. When the tiger moves its head you can see the chain is attached to the floor right below the head so not to move toward the actress. See more »

Quotes

Mayor Randall M. Winston Jr.: [James has let the Mayor borrow one hundred dollars and is now broke. James tried to steal from candy machine] James, you all right?
James Hobert: I'm hungry, Sir. I didn't have enough cash for lunch today.
Mayor Randall M. Winston Jr.: Well, hunger is a funny thing. For instance, I just had a huge steak at a four star restaurant and gosh, I still having a craving for a candy bar.

A great idea that never panned out.

In this episode, Mike is dating a new woman, Karri, that just so happens to be a magician. But during their first night together she tells Mike that she loves him. Needless to say the feelings are not returned.

Later on we learn that Kaari is not perfectly stable. She was obviously on medication but since she has found Mike, she no longer takes her pills. And when Mike begins letting Karri know how he feels it looks like Karri will not take the news very well.

Another stories has Stuart and Carter opening up a bar together. Everything seems to be going very well, that is until the inspectors arrive on the scene.

Neither story was very interesting with a filler story, about James loaning money to the Mayor, being more enjoyable than the main plots. The idea of Mike dating a strange and demanding woman makes for a interesting situation. But it seemed the writers played, an otherwise entertaining idea, too safe for enjoyment. It was something that should have blazed off the screen but we were left with smoking embers. This episode could have been better.
