Storyline

Mike cancels all other guests for his home Christmas party for the team as soon as he believes Catilin's acceptance constitutes an accidental date, but she gets wind and hastily brings a 'perfect' date. Jim brings people from the helpline where he joined as volunteer, without elementary insight to prevent rather then stimulate suicide. Paul sees the clothes drive as a wardrobe opportunity for him, not a 'tasteless' homeless. The mayor and Stuart mix up a Sewdish masseuse and an official Stockholm delegate. Written by KGF Vissers

This episode start well but lacked momentum.
17 January 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Mike was in the middle of inviting people over to his apartment for a party but when things heat up with Caitlin, Mike cancels the party and makes a private date with Caitlin. Both are looking forward to finally getting together.

During some confusion, someone tells Caitlin that Mike is hosting a party with his staff. Caitlin now brings a date. Mike is very surprised to see that Caitlin brought someone to their first official date. It is not going to be a very good dinner.

There was also a couple of other side stories. One involved James running a crisis hot-line and the other Stuart and the Mayor getting appointments mixed - but both stories just did not play well.

This episode lacked interest. There were a few moments that was nice but overall this was just a run-of-the-mill type show that did not excite viewers. The main story was set-up well but lost momentum before the tale ended. This just did not have the flare that we expect from the series. A routine type show.
