One of my favorite sitcom episodes ever
6 February 2014 | by (Orlando, FL) – See all my reviews

Spin City was one of the greatest sitcoms ever. It was one of the few shows that never had a bad episode (at least until Michael J. Fox had to leave). While I will always feel the show went down the tubes because he left, at least we had 100 amazing episodes to look back on.

The entire cast was just perfect in their roles (as always). This particular episode just makes me weep every time it's on. You can tell when the cast is saying goodbye to Mike, their tears are genuine. It's sad, and heartwarming, and leaves Mike's fate post the Mayor's Office on a good note. I can't praise the cast enough, or the writers.

After this episode, Charlie Sheen's character was introduced, and several cast members disappeared, and the writing seemed to get sloppy. But in looking back, to me this was the real Spin City Finale, and the true end of an era. I only wish this entire cast would've lasted longer...
