Trivia

Usually, Spenser works with the Boston Police. In this episode, one can briefly spot the Metropolitan Police in the background. The Metropolitan Police were a real agency in Massachusetts, known more appropriately the Metropolitan District Commission Police. They were responsible for patrolling Metro Boston's waterways, reservoirs, and parklands, all owned by the Metropolitan District Commission. They also supplemented the local police agencies in Metro Boston. The agency was absorbed into the State Police in 1992. See more »
