This movie is directed by Clyde Bruckman, a fact that appears to be important as the Bruckman's name is shown prominently for a moment on the screen McQueen is watching. "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose" is the title of a season 3 episode of The X-files, written by Darin Morgan. Darin Morgan is the brother of Glen Morgan, co-creator and writer of Space: Above and Beyond.
