Goofs

Alan Carter has difficulty releasing the bomb from the grapple on his Eagle Transporter. But it has been revealed in other episodes that the Eagles can jettison their passenger / service modules. The bomb, attached to the undercarriage of the module, would have then fallen away and the Eagle itself would have been freed. See more »

strong start
22 August 2014 | by (Midian) – See all my reviews

When an asteroid is on his way to destroy moonbase Alpha it's up to Alan and his Eagle to destroy the asteroid. By doing so there's more trouble on the way, and Koenig has to rescue Alan but discovers that a whole planet is on collision course.

Until that point this is one of the strongest episodes but by now we also know that some kind of alien form must appear and again out of the blue a spaceship comes towards the Eagle of the commander and even swollow it so that the aliens can talk with the commander securing him that the planet and the moon must collide.

The alien looks like some kind of witch like we do see in those Argento horrors. But it's here that things go a bit wrong. The suspense make place for a lot of blah blah. Still, it's a very good episode.
