Storyline

All the adults in town have gathered at Mr. Mackey's house for a meteor-watching party. While giving his guests a tour of the house, Mr. Mackey shows off his new hot tub. Declaring the night to be a time of experimentation, Stan's father and Kyle's father get in the tub together as the other guests go downstairs. After talking for a while about trying new things, they decide to masturbate together. This causes Stan's father to have misgivings about his sexuality and to feel increasingly guilty as the night goes on. Meanwhile, the ATF has the house surrounded, thinking the guests are a crazed religious cult planning to commit suicide when the meteor shower starts. The second episode of the "Meteor Shower Trilogy", also first episode to feature Butters speaking
28 October 2008 | by (Canada(Montreal,Quebec)) – See all my reviews

The meteor shower episodes where three episodes during season 3 of South Park which all told the different story of one night during a meteor shower from the points of view of all the boys(sort of like the movie "Cant Hardly Wait").The episode "Cat Orgy" was from Cartman's point of view. This episode "Two guys naked in a hot tub" is from Stan's point of view. The parents could not find a babysitter for Stan, so they had to bring him to the meteor shower party.Mr.Mackey who hosts the meteor shower sends Stan to the basement to play with the other kids. The other kids are the school nerds Pip, this other younger kid and Butters.Butters would be a prominent character in later episodes. He has appeared before but this episode marks his speaking debut. The boys find out that the ATF, thinks the party is a suicidal religious cult and they have to stop them from killing them all.Meanwhile, Stan's father and Kyle's father both talk about experimentation and watch each other masturbate in a hot tub.Stan's dad is now worried everyone will think he is gay and shy's away from Kyle's dad. This is a good entry in the meteor shower trilogy and overall a good episode.
