Trivia

During the commentary, Matt and Trey revealed that it was originally written that Cartman was going to personally murder Scott's by slitting their throats, but this was deemed too violent and the studio didn't want a child to kill anyone. so the ending was changed to Cartman having the farmer kill them. South Park's most hyped episode...
1 July 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I finally saw Scott Tenorman Must Die, which is probably the most talked about episode of South Park ever. Since it has been talked about so much, I already knew the ending, so that in itself takes away some of the shock. But still, the final scene is just incredible.

Is it among the show's finest? Perhaps... If I made a list it would probably make the top 20 just for that ending alone, not to mention it has a lot of memorable lines. However, for all it's brilliance, I wouldn't say it's a hilarious episode. I have laughed in other episodes much more, but still, that ending alone makes it very memorable. "Squeal like a piggy".
