I like this episode a lot, a lot a lot, but it's one of those South Park episodes that is just so frustrating because the characters are somewhere on the spectrum (not the good side) (just kidding) (not really) anyway it's just a funny episode. 8.1.

90s South Park has a lot of charm Warning: Spoilers
Even when Matt Stone and Trey Parker are not particularly very fond of the early seasons of South Park prior to the movie, these episodes have an undeniably charm, with the four main characters still acting like actual kids (Disregard of the many bizarre storylines)

Even the 90s cultural references and parodies feel way more charming and made with more genuine affection, rather than just merely taking digs at the movie or television show of the season.

Granted, later seasons have plenty of great hilarious moments, but the first and the second season of South Park still have a special place in my heart.

By the way, apparently some people seems to believe the scene with the "Caveman" meeting again his ex-wife was a parody of Cast Away, despite the fact this episode predates said movie. Not everything needs to be a reference to something to be funny, sometimes just a bit of random silliness is more than enough.

Warning: Spoilers
Prehistoric Ice Man is the season 2 finale of South Park.It is pretty interesting and funny. The plot revolves around the boys finding a man frozen in ice. They get him thawed out and find out he is from the far back year of...1996!.The scientist keeps him in an exhibit for people to see.The exhibit is the man in his natural habitat. There is a fargo poster on the wall and two Ace Of Base songs that play.Stan and Kyle keep arguing what they should call the ice man and end up not being friends anymore. They also want to fight each other. The Ice Man escapes and visits his ex-girlfriend who has since re-married with kids who are 8 and 13! The boys eventually decide to send him to Iowa, which is three years behind everyone else. The episode also has a spoof of Steve Irwin and the crocodile hunter. This is a pretty good season finale to South Park.

Prehistoric Ice Man (#2.18)

Warning: Spoilers
An episode that got better with time. The main idea of them discovering an ice man in 1999 from the prehistoric era of 1996 is already pretty fun. But watching it two decades later makes the 90's so much more ancient and interesting to watch out of the nostalgic feelings for the good old 90's Too bad there isn't too much of it there, but the things that were added were great. His shirt for once is very 90's. And his room that is set up as 1996 brings back memories. Ah the good old Ace of base and Independence Day poster...as well as Clinton still being the president. Steve Irwin being part of it was also a good memory trigger as he was still alive back then yet dies on the show.
