Incorrectly regarded as goofs

Manson's smiley face tattoo briefly changes into an alien head while in the car. Given the show's creators' propensity for hiding aliens in the backgrounds of various scenes, this is almost certainly an intentional joke.

A book written by Charlie Manson is attributed to "Charles W. Manson". Manson's middle name was Milles. However, according to prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi's book "Helter Skelter", Manson unofficially changed his middle name to Willes, so if said slowly his name would sound like "Charles' Will is Man's Son".
