Storyline
Halloween is coming, and the kids all have their costumes ready, except for Cartman, who's only excited about Christmas coming up in two months. Local priest Father Maxi is up in arms over the town Halloween celebration, as well as the upcoming concert by Korn, claiming that both are an abomination against God. As all this is going on, a gang of pirate ghosts is wandering the pier by the lake, scaring and attacking the townspeople. Teaming up with Korn, the kids investigate the mystery. Written by

Korn's Groovy Pirate Ghost Mystery is another Halloween episode of South Park. After this, there would not be a Halloween episode until season 10's "Hell On Earth 2006".It's a really funny and good Halloween episode, but I think the Halloween episodes tend to be better than the others. This episode spoofs Scooby Doo and has Korn coming to South Park to preform in a Halloween festival. However, some evil ghost pirates come and scare them, so It's up to Korn and the South Park kids to solve the mystery.Meanwhile, the boys want to scare the older children for scaring them beforehand, so they dig up Kyle's dead grandmother and leave her to hide. However she gets stolen by a dog but the watchmen think somebody has dug up her dead body and done necrophilia-related things to it.This is a great Halloween episode!
