Robert Redford has relocated the Sundance Film Festival to South Park after the old location becomes too overrun with Hollywood pretension. At first the residents are overjoyed at the attention, but soon see the downside of the influx of stars and tourists. Meanwhile, Kyle discovers that Mr. Hankey, who lives in the sewers during the year, is in poor condition due to all the health food the Hollywood visitors eat. Kyle's pleas to Redford to move the festival elsewhere are ignored until at last Mr. Hankey finds the strength to exact his revenge. Written by Jean-Marc Rocher <>

Did You Know?

Robert Redford was very offended by the episode "Chef's Salty Chocolate Balls" which spoofed the Sundance Film Festival. Trey Parker and Matt Stone made this episode as revenge for Cannibal! The Musical (1993) not being picked for the festival when they submitted it in 1994. See more »

When Wendy drags Stan off to their first independent film viewing together, Fred Savage can be seen in the audience. Fred Savage doesn't arrive in South Park until later in the episode. See more »

The Second Episode To Have Mr Hankey In It!
11 August 2012 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

Mr Garrison (Without Mr Hat Now) forces The Class Students to do a report on an independent film that they are going to see at the weekend. Chef is opening a sweet stall for the film festival. His concoction "Chef's Chocolate Salty Balls (Ha Ha!)" is an immediate hit, especially with The Boys! Mr Hankey: The Christmas Poo is dying and he is immediately complaining about His Eco System. With The Film Critics And The Other Visitors are eating and excreting in their diets. It is up for Kyle and the others to save Mr Hankey before it is too late, otherwise Mr Hankey will have to plot revenge! With fun music, a good plot and the usual "So Bad It's Good" animation, this is definitely a must see episode for any South Park fan, if you hate jokes about oral sex and toilet humor, then avoid!

Overall Rating: 9/10!
