According to Edie Falco, James Gandolfini fell asleep on the bed several times during the shooting of the first few episodes of Season 6.

This is the first episode of Season Six, the final season of The Sopranos (1999), one that was eight episodes longer than usual. But, the season was broken into Parts 1 and 2, separated by 10 months. Episode 12 aired in June 2006, with the next program, Episode 13, not arriving until April 2007.
This episode is the show's first season premiere not to feature a shot of The Star-Ledger on The Sopranos' driveway.

After the original broadcast of this episode, no promos for the next episode were shown in order to keep the aftermath of Tony's shooting a complete mystery.
Right before he shoots Tony, Uncle Junior says: "Cazzate, Malanga", which translates literally as "Bullshit, Malanga".
