Quotes

Burt: So, Eddie. What do you do?
Eddie: I'm a writer.
Danny: I didn't know that.
Eddie: [coolly] Well, we've never really had a chance to chitchat.
Danny: What do you write?
Eddie: Essays, magazine articles. "The Plight of the Black Race", "400 Years of Oppression", "The White Man's Disgrace"...
Bob: Oh, so you're a gag writer, is that it?
[Danny and Eddie chase Chuck and Bob out of the room]

Episode 61
10 May 2010 | by (Youngstown,Ohio) – See all my reviews

Episode 61 begins with Danny discovering that Burt is dying(he gets caught reading a book called DIE WITHOUT FEAR,swearing Danny to secrecy),and they jointly decide to help him leave his mark during the short time he has left by trying to get into the Guinness Book of World Records. The Campbells receive a visit from Polly's family, including her father Walter Coleman(Mel Stewart),none of whom are amused by the antics of Chuck and Bob,or Burt's attempt to set a record for bouncing a balloon.Against her better judgment,Corinne agrees to lie to the jealous Dutch for a cheating Eunice, whose last boyfriend was driven away to Montana to become a shepherd.Chester, regularly attending counseling sessions to conquer his infidelity,is easily seduced at an adult motel by Gloria, the Minister's daughter(briefly resisting in the hopes that it's only a test). When Jessica learns that her husband has fallen for Gloria, she resoundingly kicks him out of the house.
