IMDbTV Pick: Showtime's "Penny Dreadful"

The subtle trick Showtime's "Penny Dreadful is that it is far less about the blood, gore and the specter of gruesome death than the sharp pain and exhilarating pleasure of living, and the terror of feeling alone even in close company. Read our review in the May Picks section.

Jealous Amy
12 September 2007 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Victoria and Lex are attacked by something invisible. They realize that Amy, a girl who lives on Lex's property, is jealous of the gorgeous Victoria and was probably the one who attacked them. However, a surprise awaits them as to who the killer is. Victoria also begins to sneak around Lex's mansion, particularly his computer, to discover files which contain the secrets to LuthorCorp.

Meanwhile, Clark realizes why Whitney Fordham has began to act so moody- he is headed down a future that he isn't too happy with. Despite wanting so much to be with Lana, he sacrifices this desire and asks Lana to help Whitney and continue to give him attention.

An average episode, which means it's good. 8/10
