Storyline

Clark Kent decides to disclose his secret to Lana to avoid her from traveling to Paris, and he invites her for dinner at the Kent farm. But things take a turn when the dangerous teenager Emily Eve Dinsmore, the six-year-old girl (from the episode 'Accelerate') had matured into a grown-up and still obsessed with Lana, escapes from the institute where she is interned. She kills the new owner of Talon and kidnaps Lana. Meanwhile, Chloe joins forces Lex trying to find evidence to send the powerful Lionel to prison for the murder of Lex's grandparents. Elsewhere, Pete is threatened by the corrupt FBI agent, Frank Loder, who is still trying to find what he knows about Clark. Clark then decides against telling Lana his secret after Pete reveals to Clark about the pain of the ability to keep his secret and Pete decides to move away from Smallville to live with his now-divorced mother in Wichita. Quotes

Lex Luthor: You went through all the trouble of having your own son committed to an asylum and shooting six hundred volts of electricity through his body just to cover up your trespasses. But like I said, dad, you've gotten careless.
Lionel Luthor: [Loder enters the room] Loder. Why are you here?
FBI Agent Frank Loder: Lionel Luthor, you're under arrest.
Lionel Luthor: On what charge?
FBI Agent Frank Loder: The murder of your parents, Lachlan and Eliza Luthor. Let's go.
Lionel Luthor: [as Loder takes him away, they stop in front of Lex] Be careful, son. Don't forget Judas hung himself with his own...

Emily is back...
4 December 2007 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

A character from a previous episode of this season is back in Emily Dinsmore, albeit much older from before.

Emily, a little ten-year-old girl previously, is now grown up due to accelerate cloning conducted by her father and Lionel Luthor. However, she still just has the mental capacity of a child. She still wants to be friends with Lana. Emily escapes from her "doll house" that her father and Lionel grew her in, due to the rapidity of her molecules as a result of her accelerated growth. She captures Lana and puts her in the glass cage, making Lana her own personal doll. Nobody would no that Lana would be there, because she is supposed to be in Paris to attend Paris School of the Arts- and frankly, see what's out there in life besides having her mind consumed by thoughts of her relationship with Clark. Only one certain empowered individual can save her.

This episode wraps up a brief two-episode story arc that began early in the season and concluded here, near the end of the season. An average episode to a fantastic overall season.
