The meteor-rock mutant simultaneously invites Lana and Chloe on a literal 'double date', aiming to get a scholarship from Luthor Corp to Yale by using the girls who know Lex Luther. Meanwhile, Lana moves to Chloe's house to live with her and divorced father after Nell leaves town. Clark tries to advise Lana and Chloe about the personality and ability of Ian, but he is misunderstood. Home Improvement meets Smallville
17 September 2007 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

The actor of the second son in 'Home Improvement' plays the duplicating meteor freak Ian Randall in an exciting yet rather freaky episode.

Ian Randall has the ability to split himself. Because of this, he is able to attend extra classes in school, and to date two girls at once. But when he does date two at once in Lana and Chloe, it is with evil intentions. He intends to bait Clark into making a decision of who to save.

In addition, Lex Luthor meets Dr. Helen Bryce after seeing Jonathan in the hospital, who is suffering with a broken leg. A attraction sparks between the two.

The most fun part of this episode is seeing an actor from such a popular and well-known show like 'Home Improvement' be featured as a 'villain' in 'Smallville.'
