Rembrandt is walking behind the sheriff when pleading with him to look for Wade and the Professor, but then is suddenly ahead of him.
Three boys ask Quinn for their soccer ball back. After a cutaway, the group expands to five boys. Quinn walks over. The group of boys is back to the original three, and the two new boys now walk up to them.
When Quinn and Laurie investigate Farmer John's place, their red jeep is only muddy around the tires. When Quinn gets back into the jeep, there's now mud splattered all over his door.

He should pin the sheriff down with gunfire first then get Quinn and Wade to flee, but instead he instructs the 2 to flee and allows the sheriff to fire 2 (missed) shots at them before returning fire to force the sheriff back behind the rocks.
The old lady is far too vague for far too long given how many times she tries to warn Wade about what the danger is.
When Quinn (with his back turned) is retrieving the soccer ball on the grass and the creature burrows towards to him like a giant mole, the kids can see the large displacement of the grass occurring behind him but somehow Quinn's female companion can't - but Quinn is able to see that occur when the creature burrows towards her on the beach.
