Convicted felon John Kogan escapes from prison, commandeers a bus, and launches a one-man wave of crime and violence. He publicly announces that the mayhem will not stop until Sledge agrees to meet him in a one-on-one gunfight. When Dori asks Sledge why, he tells her that Kogan was his childhood friend and a former police officer, but Sledge was forced to track him down and arrest him for "disgracing the badge" by taking a bribe. Captain Trunk further tells Dori that Sledge would have little chance in a gunfight with the fast-drawing Kogan. Dori accompanies Sledge to an isolated location for the inevitable showdown, where Sledge's last best hope for survival is his father's old carnival trick, which was recently and reluctantly passed along to him by a sideshow sharpshooter known as Dead Eye Dan. Partner to escapee!
25 May 2007 | by (Ireland) – See all my reviews

Love this show. From day one it was a scream with brilliantly conceived stories and hilariously over the top scenarios. In this, Hammer's ex partner, John Cogan, a dirty cop, escapes from jail and goes on a rampage. His hatred for Hammer and contempt for The Law in general is a real treat to watch. The humor in this show was similar to the Police Academy stories and never let the viewer down. Pity it only lasted two seasons as it was genius. It could have continued for so much longer.. Cogan, wants a showdown with Hammer and Hammer learns a new trick to defeat Cogan. If you like comedy, watch this show as it is a scream. All other parts in this provide great support especially Captain Trunk who yells at Hammer at every given opportunity!
